2 killed in fire in eastern India

Beijing (China) Jan 21: At least two people were killed in India's eastern state of Bihar when a fire broke out in a shop on Tuesday morning, confirmed local police officer Krishna Nand Jha over phone to Xinhua, with another fire happening in western state.
He said the two people were sleeping inside the shop when the fire broke out in Bihar's Vaishali district. The police have put out the fire and finished the rescue.
Meanwhile, another fire broke out in India's western state of Gujarat at a seven-storey market complex in Surat city on Tuesday morning, said media reports.
There were no reports of any casualty so far.
The blaze erupted in the Raghuvir Complex, a large textile market in Saroli area of the city, where several shops were reportedly gutted in the blaze.
